🇬🇧 I had heard talking about this little restaurant by the sea in Viareggio. Of course I went to taste it for you. Behind the restaurant you will find the beautiful promenade, in front of the restaurant, the sea. Excellent location that makes you feel on vacation, expecially in a hot sunny day as it was yesterday. Very nice ambiente, informal but very attentive and prepared service and a very tasty traditional cuisine. For you: prawns on spelled sauce from Garfagnana, spaghetti with arselle (tiny clams). It's time for my favorite dessert: oysters. Excellent!
🇬🇧 We are between Pisa and Lucca and more precisely in San Giuliano Terme. Locanda Sant'Agata is located in a green area, away from the city life. A family run boutique hotel with restaurant. Chef Nicola Micheletti offers a cuisine of both meat and fish, with full respect for the products seasonality. For this reason the menù changes very often. Two tasting menus of 4 and 5 courses respectively chosen by the chef. I greatly appreciated the Rocher di Chianina, Chianina tartare with a breading of dried fruit, the Acquarello risotto with chestnuts, almonds and marinated amberjack and the catch of the day with celeriac and Marsala glazed endive. I point out the chef's skill in treating the vegetable element in the dishes. Smart and kind service. Short wine list but surely able to satisfy every customer's need. I love restaurants proposing coffee menù.
